We’ll decide together over the course of the program.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shared community space, kitchen, veggie gardens, food forests, multiple lakes, water temple, sauna, bio pool, solar micro-grid and much more.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The program is built together with and around lessons from some of the most exciting and successful regenerative village stories in the world.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The program also journeys through decentralised governance.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Come to the info meeting to learn more 🧐 What can you expect?&nbsp;The program will run for 6 months and will be held by the Village Portal Team with online workshops happening 2 times per month alongside village camp fires 2 times per month, as well as work groups for those contributing more time.&nbsp;It will be split over three modules with a break over winter holidays for internal reflection. Each meeting will explore different topics related to the structure, culture, architecture and essence of the neighbourhood as well as meeting each other in authenticity. Who are the neighbors I want to live next to, and what kind of neighbor do I want to be, to live my most fulfilled life?The last meeting is in person when the group comes together to finally meet IRL and spend 4 days at TDF together to anchor the learnings into the land.&nbsp; 🍄 Meet your facilitators:Snorre: Facilitator of inner and outer nature, growing up close to nature in a business oriented family above the arctic circle. Co-founder of community and program driven stakeholders such as Pinecone Leadership, Seol.Center, Foreningen Hel, Nordic Burns and Dagens.farm as well as many group therapy circles. Has facilitated dozens of leadership and educational programs all across societies layers. Ecovillage thought leader that has lived and spent time in 15 ecovillages around the world with his family. Named leading star of the year 2023 by the Association for Social Science for his work with group facilitation. Snorre is currently living on a farm in Norway that is becoming a regenerative community. Father of two.Anja: Startup founder gone community builder with great care for what makes humans feel safe and take responsibility. Over the past 5 years she has been a co-founder of a dutch eco village and educational hub Circle Way Tribe housing 10 families, where they arrange company retreats and educational programs on the topic of community building and stewardship. She was the founder of the social venture Waste Away Challenge, which was acquired in 2024 and several other social ventures prior to that. She holds a masters degree in Organizational and Occupational Psychology from the University of Utrecht. Mother of two.Simen: Regenerative entrepreneur with 25+ years’ experience in sustainable community building, green real estate, and holistic living. Founder of Norway’s first ecovillage (Hurdal Økolandsby) and carbon-neutral housing company (Aktivhus) that sold 70+ units. Has led multiple ventures from vision to profitability, hosted national and international delegations, and advised on regenerative models worldwide. A third-generation eco-pioneer and vegetarian, Simen integrates deep spiritual practice with practical execution, bridging vision and manifestation to create thriving communities. Father of five.Lars Mikkel: Integrator and program manager. Versatile designer with multiple outputs, including web design, graphic design and content production. He has previously founded a similar startup to Village Portal, called «Oase» and he is exploring healing arts in his past time. Soon to become a father. 🍓 What is the outcome?&nbsp;You will learn what is most worth knowing in the regenerative village movement. You will know if this village is right for you and you will probably know your new neighbors, or at least friends for life - having gone through this program with a selected group of resourceful people.You will leave with a deeper understanding of yourself in the context of community life. Having more knowledge and self awareness to decide if this type of life path is for you and if TDF is the right place for you to put down roots.We wish to guide a coherent group of humans into feeling in alignment to move into the next steps of investment for their home at TDF. Bring your home to TDF 🚐&nbsp;we have spaces in the land that are flat, with shade and with electricity. Perfect for your home on the road. No grey water systems available (it is not allowed to dispose of these in the land). Compost toilets and showers are shared.

Van Parking Space

Wake up to the view of oak trees 🌳&nbsp;Bring your own gear. We recommend a tent, a camping mattress, a sleeping bag and a pillow. If it is winter, make sure your gear is warm and waterproof. Compost toilets and showers are shared.

Camping

Get cosy in a glamping tent for you, and two or three more folks. It’s spacious and comfortable - don’t worry, they are 5m in diameter.The tents are set up on platforms on our land. Compost toilets and hot showers are shared.Book for one and we will allocate you with other bookings, or book as 3-4 people together and you will be allocated your own tent to share.Tents are set up with single beds, bedding and blankets for extra cosyness! We also provide a towel for your stay.Please bring an extra one for the sauna if you can! .

Shared Glamping 

Get cosy in your own glamping tent on the land emerged in nature 🥰They are 4m in diameter so you will have space. You’ll get a double mattress with warm blankets and fluffy rugs.This set up is for two people only, and as a double unless you request a twin.If you are 3+ then you can book a shared glamping.Compost toilets and hot showers are shared and on the land.We provide towels with your booking but please bring extra for the sauna if you can!

Private Glamping

Our dorm is in the chicken factory! A simple but cosy space with dorm beds and desk space.We provide bedding and a towel for your stay but please bring an extra one for the sauna if you can!Please let us know if you do not want to be in a mixed gendered space and we will try to accommodate.Compost toilets and hot showers are shared on the land.

Volunteer dorm

Our small glamping tents are designed for one person —a comfortable mattress, storage for your things, and just the right amount of space to feel at home.During the rainy season, the tents are set up inside our factory building, where you'll have access to electricity.In the warmer months, they move outside onto the land, where it's off-grid with no electricity supply.
